Rehearsal Schedule for the Week of January 29th

Well, we had some rough weather week last week  - hopefully the weather will be on our side this week!  Just a reminder that if school is cancelled or closes early, play rehearsal is cancelled for that day.  If we miss a day of rehearsal due to inclement weather, we may reschedule the rehearsal for Friday afternoon to make up the work that was missed.  Also a reminder with all the sickness going around:  If you are sick and absent from school or leave school early, your absence from play rehearsal is excused.  Hoping you all stay healthy!!

Rehearsal Schedule for the Week of January 16th

We had a great read through and first music rehearsal last week!  We made a lot of progress in just a short amount of time!  We hope you have a chance to rest over the long weekend and come back refreshed and ready to work :)

With several other after school activities going on during play season, we understand that there will be conflicts with the rehearsal schedule.  If you have an activity that occurs each week (or several times a week) please make sure you have made us aware of it. Your absence will not be counted against you if we know of the conflict ahead of time.  If you have a sports schedule that you would like to make us aware of, please e-mail that schedule to Mrs. Penny at mpenny@newtonnj.org.

Everyone who auditioned for the show received a role.  If for some reason you do not see your name on the cast list, it is an oversight and was not intentional --- please let us know ASAP and we will make sure it is corrected!

Rehearsals for this week:

Monday, January 9th from 3:15 until 5:00 :  We will have a Full Cast Rehearsal to read through of the entire play for all cast members on Monday,.  If you have another event that day you are welcome to attend for as long as you are able and then leave to get to your other event.  Attendance at this first read through is not mandatory but will give you an idea of where you fit in the scheme of the show.

Wednesday, January  11th  from 3:15 – 5:00 :  Full Cast Rehearsal to go over music.

Please remember that you are only allowed 3 excused absences before your part will be assigned to another student.  If you have a scheduling conflict you must let us know ASAP so that we can work around it if at all possible.
